Duxbury Networking has welcomed the launch of Rajant LTE Enhance, a breakthrough add-on device that enables integration between Rajant’s patented Kinetic Mesh networks and existing LTE infrastructure.

The device, which will be available in South Africa following local homologation, is designed to give operators the flexibility to unify LTE and mesh networks dynamically, without the need for complex redesign or manual intervention.

“This is a significant step forward for our local mining, manufacturing, and logistics clients who need more flexibility at the edge of their networks. Rajant LTE Enhance allows for hybrid deployments where LTE and mesh can work together intelligently, making real-time decisions to maintain connectivity and performance,” says Teresa Huysamen, Business Unit Manager at Duxbury Networking.

Rajant LTE Enhance automatically identifies the best available link, whether LTE or Kinetic Mesh, and manages switching between them in real time. This is critical for mission-critical industries where latency, mobility, and uptime are non-negotiable.

Unlike traditional static failover or SD-WAN-based approaches, LTE Enhance is embedded at the edge and requires no centralised controller. It is particularly well-suited to operations with mobile assets such as autonomous vehicles, remote-controlled machinery, or roving security units.

“LTE Enhance offers a practical way to strengthen last-mile connectivity in hard-to-wire environments. It gives our clients more resilience, without adding complexity.”

Rajant LTE Enhance is compatible with existing Rajant BreadCrumb® wireless nodes and can be deployed in both greenfield and brownfield environments.

Duxbury Networking is currently progressing through the South African homologation process for LTE Enhance and will make the solution available through its certified reseller and systems integration partners upon approval.
