RheinBrücke to drive transformation by launching localised Epicor ERP in the cloud

IT consultancy firm RheinBrücke has entered a partnership with Epicor Software, to offer Epicor ERP in the RheinBrucke ME cloud to the Middle East market. The new offering enables businesses to innovate, reduce costs, and boost operational efficiencies. The solution offers several advantages, such as lower capital requirements to access innovation, scalability, shorter deployment times for better returns on investment, reduced infrastructure costs, trimmed operating expenses, and world-class security.

In attendance at the launch event were His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed Bin Faisal Bin Khalid al Qassimi, His Excellency Jamal Saif Al Jarwan, Secretary-General of the UAE International Investors Council, and His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, Undersecretary for Support Services at the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and other dignitaries across the region. The latest forecast by Gartner projects IT spending in the EMEA region to total $973 billion, AED3.6 trillion in 2019, an increase of 2% on the estimated spending of $954 billion AED3.5 trillion in 2018, as more organisations experiment with new technologies in a bid to spur innovation and revolutionise the customer experience. In the GCC region, the UAE is the most active adopter of cloud computing. Research firm IDC predicts spending on public cloud services in the country will almost quadruple over the next four years, surging from AED439 million in 2017 to AED1.51 billion in 2022.

The launch event featured a dynamic panel discussion, entitled Data is the New Oil. In addition, the RheinBrücke Pinnacle Awards of Excellence were held to pay tribute to individuals and companies.
