Sharp has used InfoComm MEA 2013 to share its latest technology

Installed at InfoComm MEA 2013, Sharp has created a new-age retail experience that features the brand’s latest information display technology, perfectly suited for a variety of shopping destinations. As the centre pieces of this installation, the PN-R903 – 90” Class LED Monitor display, folded PN-R603 display and ‘See Me’ (Mirror Display) highlight Sharp’s ability to create real-life applications that enable retailers to waste no space in their stores.

Designed specifically to display information on a mirror surface, the ‘See Me’ display can save space and conceal electronics across a variety of locations, including both stores and living spaces. The Mirror can be used to display information that disappears once the viewer chooses to stand directly in front of the polarized screen.

Sharp has used its latest PN-R903 – 90” Class LED Monitor display to show off its capability to develop unique software applications that capture the future of the shopping experience. Still in conceptual design, the monitor display at this year’s InfoComm MEA is able to overlay selected outfits on top of the reflection of the viewer in the screen; overcoming the hassle and time required to physically try on the clothing.

Specifically designed as a retail window display, the folded PN-R603 installation shows the adaptability of the display panels, as they are used to create a more engaging feature within the retail space, beyond a flat panel display wall.

Due to an elevated demand for its interactive display panels, especially within the retail sector, Sharp has used InfoComm MEA 2013 to share its latest technology and concepts with the region’s leading experts in this industry sector.
