What are your plans for this region ?

Our retail products are already available in the Middle East through some channel partners. Our business plan is to focus more on the enterprise. We participated in GITEX 2014 to reach out to end-users and partners and spread awareness about our product range. We have a broad range of products for the enterprise but not all people in this region are aware of the same. We cover everything from the gateway to the endpoint and then there are add-ons like DLP, mobile device management. So, a host of such solutions are available and we wish to scale up our business here. We are a 100% channel driven company so we would like to ensure that we have the right set of partners in order to build this enterprise business and go ahead.

How has your perception of the market changed over the last few years ?

We have clear focus in terms of where we want to go in this market. The way in which we look at the market has also changed over the years. It’s a fairly mature market and people are aware about upcoming technologies but at the same time, we realise that this market can definitely benefit from the product-service combination which we typically offer. When it comes to services like awareness, pre-sales, post-sales, hand-holding, we are much more capable than a lot of other vendors. The main reason for this might be due to our long experience in operating along these lines. We strive to provide end-users and channel partners with a great experience of working with us and using our security products.

Do you think you shall be able to garner support from the partner community ?

We believe partners shall be interested, because the value proposition from us is definitely very good. Unlike earlier, now we are directly present over here and hence believe the connect we can establish with our partners shall be much better now. We also have a broader range of product offerings.

The VADs and channel partners in the region are already working with several top security providers; in such a scenario, what’s the RoI for the partners in associating with you ?

We can definitely assure a much better experience as far as the partners are concerned. Moreover, we can assure that the partners shall be benefitted by large margins, which I believe is very important for the partner ecosystem. We might have come little late but then we are definitely ready to go the extra mile to fulfil our commitment to our partners and end-users.

And then, most importantly, as they say, there’s always space for a player. Undoubtedly, there are several security vendors in the market now but there are several shortcomings as well associated with them, be it in terms of the product offerings or the user experiences. For example, we offer a comprehensive DLP on Mac, along with Windows platform which lots of competitors don’t have. Likewise, there are several add-ons that we bring to the table in terms of features.
