Software AG recently announced the completion of its acquisition of Berlin-based metaquark and the integration of its mobile application capabilities within the company’s Intelligent Business Operations (IBO) and webMethods Business Process Management platforms. metaquark’s solution enables the management of mobile users, devices, and security profiles in a single location, simplifying the process of distributing new apps and updates. Also, the technology provides monitoring capabilities, offering enterprise developers a better mobile user experience, including statistics and usage reports.
Integrated with the company’s IBO platform – which provides analytics and decision management for real-time applications – this provides enterprises with the ability to make fully informed business decisions anytime and anywhere using real-time applications, including those focused on customer experience management (CEM) and the Internet of Things (IoT).
metaquark’s mobile technology has also been integrated with Software AG’s webMethods Business Process Management platform. Combined with IBO this extends the industry’s leading iBPMS (intelligent Business Process Management) suite, in which business processes can adjust and adapt to opportunities and threats in process behavior and big data. An iBPMS can predict problems, recommend pre-emptive actions and make automated, dynamic process changes in response to events in what is rapidly becoming an “open ended” or “customer-driven” supply chain.
