Tell us about your ‘Go Africa’ strategy that you recently launched in Rwanda.
Go Africa is a TGFZ strategy to expand into Africa region .This initiative was launched in 2015 and we have been able to Go Wide –Go Deep in Africa region developing various segment which includes B2C and B2B . Recently we had a channel event which was attended by 100 Channel partners and B2B customers . It was a good networking opportunity to listen to the VOC’s of the local Rwanda market
What is your 2018 go to market strategy? Are you planning to strengthen your customer base or channel partner base and how?
For FY -18 2018 Our focus will be to expand our Surveillance storage business and Near Line storage Enterprise business focusing on Cloud and Data Storage Segment .Toshiba is the only Storage Vendor to have a complete end to end solution for Storage from micro SD cards to High Capacity 14TB CMR HDD for Enterprise applications. With our complete range of products we will be able to cater all segments and all vertical applications that require storage . today Everything and anything which is connected requires storage and Toshiba is geared up for the information explosion which will produce 166ZB of data by 2025
