Organized by Enterprise Channels MEA and powered by Toshiba, the Storage360 roundtable held in Riyadh, KSA on 19th March 2018 at the Burj Rafal Kempiniski touched upon some key aspects of the kingdom’s storage and surveillance market.
The roundtable, attended by a right mixture of Key government leaders SIs, VADs, and Resellers was highly successful in putting forward the regional appetite of the kingdom in embracing innovative storage models.
The explosion of big data and the penetration of IoT devices have driven the need for increased memory capacity in enterprises and day-to-day life equally. Innovations in speed, capacity and interfaces have been re-writing the DNA of next generation enterprise storage. As data dwells in the modern enterprises as the new currency it becomes equally important to have a next-generation vault that is intricately built to not only store it, but secure it as well.
Toshiba recently launched the MG07ACA Series, the world’s first[1] enterprise 14TB[2] Conventional Magnetic Recording (CMR) HDD. Using a 9-disk, helium-sealed design, the new MG07ACA Series provides the power-efficient capacity and storage density needed by cloud-scale and enterprise storage solution providers to achieve their TCO objectives. Toshiba, a pioneer of innovative storage and surveillance products and solutions, took this platform to showcase the future and business potential of mission critical, surveillance and near line drives and how they are disrupting the storage market of the kingdom.
After all innovation is not just about a product… it is about the entire ecosystem.
Stay tuned for more updates on the roundtable and the discussion.
