With its head office in Dubai and presence in Canada, Abu Dhabi, Ghana and India, Fujisoft—that was established as a pureplay networking solution provider— has manifested its portfolio into diverse technologies viz virtualization, cloud computing etc in the past 6 years. Its end-to-end IT solutions and services spans the entire IT ecosystem and accelerates the key dimensions of digital transformation. The organization goes by the mantra that they are here to empower new levels of productivity into the existing business models and redefining the way business thinks and works with data in a connected world.
Rizwan Kareem, Business unit head of Fujisoft says, “With the changing dynamics of the market, we have changed our business and service delivery strategy as well. Data and data centres have undergone drastic transformation. We firmly believe that if your business has to succeed, your data center has to be you most agile asset. Our data center solutions empowers the customers to take the next step forward in their day-to-day business and provides services that are highly automated. As we saw an increased momentum in the demand and adoption of hyperconverged infrastructure, we signed up with Nutanix. We have also implemented VDI. Cloud is one of our strongest portfolio and we have set up major cloud infrastructure for clients. We have always been a champion in Office 365 cloud solution from Microsoft. We were one of the very few partners who did not resist to cloud.”
Fujisoft has also created its own public cloud – FujiCloud. Under this umbrella, Fujisoft has a wide array of managed services at the customers’ disposal including, Fuji IaaS, BaaS, DRaaS, SECaaS (Security as a service), DaaS (Desktop as a Service) and EaaS (Email as a service).
Fujisoft is also planning to come out with more productization in terms of cloud as it sees a strong decline in the infrastructure business in the coming years. “Although we are maintaining our infrastructure business, we are also getting our foothold on cloud services. Apart from all this, we have been focusing heavily on information security. We have our own team of certified ethical hackers. We do vulnerability assessment, penetration test and also implement various security solutions like firewalls, etc. We also work with Cisco, both on collaboration and networking. We have done major video conferencing projects.”
BITS Pilani is one of Fujisoft’s most coveted projects. Cisco Telepresence solutions enable students and faculty at BITS Pilani Dubai Campus to collaborate efficiently within and beyond the campus. The Dubai Campus’s entire video conferencing solution is also done by Fujitsu.
When asked about the growth plans that Fujisoft is eying for the next three to five years, Rizwan says that at Fujisoft they have a ‘no-satisfaction’ goal plan. “When it comes to growth, enough is never enough. We believe in raising our own benchmark and have never considered any other solution provider as our competition and tried to match pace. We have a pace and vision of our own and we always seek to improve our service YoY. Long term success lies deep in the heart of a customer.”
