The World CIO 200 Summit – Indonesia Edition 2025 was held on 30 April 2025 at the prestigious Hotel Mulia Senayan, Jakarta, convening the nation’s top CIOs, digital transformation leaders, and technology strategists. Organized by the Global CIO Forum, the summit served as a premier platform for thought leadership, innovation dialogue, and executive recognition in the realm of enterprise IT.
The summit commenced with a keynote address by Anushree Dixit, Chief Strategy Officer at GEC, who underscored the strategic responsibility of CIOs in driving innovation and building sustainable digital enterprises. This was followed by a series of welcome speeches delivered by Indonesia’s Country Ambassadors — Hendy Harianto, Ichwan Peryana, and Sudarto Unsurlany — who highlighted the evolving expectations of IT leaders in accelerating the nation’s digital agenda.
A compelling technology keynote by Keith Sng, Field CTO of APJ at Veeam Software, addressed the growing imperative of data resilience. He presented critical insights on building a secure, recoverable IT infrastructure in an increasingly complex and threat-prone environment.
The agenda featured two panel discussions that explored the evolving responsibilities of CIOs and the impact of emerging technologies on enterprise strategy. The first panel, titled “The Next Decade of IT Leadership”, examined how future CIOs must balance innovation with governance, risk, and measurable business outcomes. Moderated by Muhamad Nursahid, the discussion provided diverse perspectives from IT leaders across automotive, finance, retail, and public sector organizations, emphasizing the need for adaptive, strategic, and cross-functional leadership.
The second panel, “Partnering for Innovation: Enabling IT Leaders Through Emerging Technologies and AI Collaboration”, explored how CIOs can drive transformation through strategic partnerships and the integration of AI, cloud, and next-generation technologies. Moderated by Benny Jioe, the session highlighted the importance of ecosystem collaboration and agile leadership in scaling innovation across industries.
The summit also included executive keynotes from leading solution providers, including Oracle, Metrodata, Google Cloud, HP, and CAST Software, each offering valuable insights into how technology is reshaping operational models and customer engagement across sectors.
A key highlight of the event was the CIO 200 Awards Ceremony, which recognized exceptional CIOs for their leadership and contributions to digital excellence. Awards were presented in four categories: Next-Gen, Leader, Master, and Legend, honouring individuals who have demonstrated innovation, resilience, and strategic foresight in advancing their organizations.
The summit concluded with an elegant networking dinner and closing reflections from the Country Ambassadors, reiterating the importance of leadership collaboration, innovation, and shared responsibility in shaping Indonesia’s digital future.
