The World CIO 200 Summit and GEC Security Symposium kicked off in Saudi Arabia

The first round of The World CIO 200 Summit 2019 kicked off at the Movenpick Hotel Riyadh in Saudi Arabia on 11th September amidst a full house of CIOs and CISOs from various verticals in the country. Held under the Patronage of the Ministry of Communication and Information technology, the event was inaugurated by Mr. Mohammed Al Amoudi from MCIT who later gave the keynote speech.

Over 150 delegates witnessed some excellent presentations from the end users and solution providers. The prominent speakers were – Mr. Mohammed Mahnashi, ICT Consultant, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Tahani Al Dosemani, Director, Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University, Brett Samuel, Head of Technology, Veritas Middle East, Eng Ahmed Hassan, Support and Services Director and Pascal Mattas, Sales Manager from STME.

The event was co-hosted with GEC Security Symposium and CISO Awards 2019 which explored the true meaning of what end to end security means in a digital enterprise. Mr. Shaker Al Anazi, Cyber Security Senior Manager, Zain KSA shared an excellent presentation on the topic – ‘Towards effective cybersecurity measurement.’

The top CISOs of the country were felicitated with the Cyber Sentinels CISO Awards. The award winners were –
