Windows 10 support Ends: UAE businesses urged to shift to Windows 11 Pro

Microsoft officially ends support for its Windows 10 operating system. After October 14, 2025, Windows 10 devices will no longer receive security updates, bug fixes, or technical support, with organizations across the UAE advised to prepare to transition to Windows 11 Pro to ensure secure and uninterrupted business operations.

The end of Windows 10 support means devices will become increasingly vulnerable to security risks and cyber threats. Without ongoing security updates, businesses risk exposure to attacks and data breaches, alongside the inability to access technical support.

Windows 11 Pro offers enhanced security features tailored for today’s hybrid work environments. Built-in security models come pre-integrated with new devices to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance. Importantly, Windows 11 Pro maintains 99.7% compatibility with existing business applications, allowing companies to upgrade with minimal disruption.

Introducing Copilot+ PCs

Alongside Windows 11 Pro, Microsoft and Logicom are introducing Copilot+ PCs, which advance the AI-powered computing category. These devices are designed to change the way you work and future of the business and give users better control over their time by automating routine tasks and enabling focus on higher-value business activities.

Copilot+ PCs brings on-device intelligence with 40+ TOPS NPUs, speed, performance, and long battery life to support hybrid work not only through cloud computing, but also with AI capabilities running locally. The devices provide a robust platform suitable for integrating third-party applications, allowing businesses to customize and innovate their workflows.

“As Windows 10 approaches its end of support on October 14, 2025, UAE businesses stand at the threshold of a new era in computing. The rise of AI-powered PCs is no longer a distant promise—it’s rapidly becoming the standard for organizations seeking smarter performance, robust security, and seamless productivity. Industry research suggests that by 2026, AI laptops will be the preferred choice for large Enterprises. Copilot+ PCs, running Windows 11 Pro, are designed to help UAE organizations use their time wisely, unlocking new efficiencies and enabling teams to focus on what matters most. These devices are at the heart of the UAE’s accelerating digital transformation, empowering businesses to innovate and stay secure in a fast-changing landscape.

We are excited to support our partners and customers across the region as they embrace the future of work with Copilot+ PCs—delivering advanced AI capabilities, enhanced protection, and the agility needed to thrive in today’s digital economy,” said Matthias Scharer, Go to Market GM, Microsoft DPS EMEA.

Organizations still running Windows 10 are advised not to delay device refreshes to avoid increased exposure to cyber risks and operational disruptions. Early adoption of Windows 11 Pro and Copilot+ PCs will help businesses stay competitive and secure.
