In 2026, the World CIO 200 Summit has evolved beyond a traditional technology roadshow into a global leadership and transformation platform. Built on four foundational pillars – Knowledge, Health, Human, and Community – the summit brings together CIOs, technology leaders, innovators, and policymakers from over 60 countries to foster collaboration, share insights, and drive meaningful digital transformation. Through its growing global ecosystem, the summit continues to empower technology leaders to create sustainable impact, accelerate innovation, and shape the future of digital leadership worldwide.

The event commenced with the National Anthem, followed by the official Welcome Address delivered by the Global CIO Forum Indonesia Country Chapter leadership, represented by President Hendy Harianto and Vice Presidents Ichwan Peryana and Sudarto Unsurlany.
Summit agenda highlights
The summit agenda featured a compelling lineup of keynote presentations, technology insights, leadership discussions, case studies, and recognition ceremonies, bringing together global and regional technology leaders to explore the future of digital transformation.
The event opened with a keynote address titled “The Collaborative CIO – Powering Cross-Industry Tech Alliances”, delivered by Ronak Samantaray, CEO & Co-Founder, Global CIO Forum, who emphasized the importance of collaboration, collective intelligence, and strategic partnerships in driving large-scale innovation and digital transformation.
A key highlight of the summit was the presentation of the Global Technology Leadership Distinguished Laureate – Women 2026 to Meutya Viada Hafid, Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs, Republic of Indonesia, in recognition of her outstanding leadership and contribution to the advancement of the digital ecosystem.
The technology insight series began with OutSystems, featuring Andris Masengi, Regional Manager, OutSystems, and Herryanti Herman, Director, PT Mitra Integrasi Informatika, who highlighted AI-driven ecosystem collaboration and secure digital platforms for community-scale transformation.
This was followed by a session from Veeam, presented by David Allott, CISO APJ, Veeam, focusing on building trusted technology partnerships in a hyper-connected economy.
A major highlight of the day was the panel discussion “AI Beyond the Hype: Future Technologies and Strategic Challenges”, which brought together senior technology leaders to explore the evolving AI landscape, emerging innovation opportunities, and the strategic challenges enterprises face in an increasingly AI-driven world.
The session was moderated by Goutama Bachtiar, Research Fellow, Cloud Security Alliance, and featured an expert panel comprising:

The knowledge segment continued with the leadership session “Strategic Management in the Age of AI”, delivered by Prof. Onno W. Purbo, Indonesian IT Expert & Educator, who shared insights on how AI is reshaping decision-making, innovation, and organizational leadership.
Following the networking break, the agenda continued with Metrodata, where Hariyo Nusantoro, Director Hybrid Cloud & Data AI, PT Mitra Integrasi Informatika, discussed generative AI, automation, and modern data platforms.
This was followed by Swiss GRC, presented by Rajeev Dutt, Managing Director MEA & APAC, Swiss GRC Technology, focusing on cyber resilience in AI-first enterprises.
A compelling Case Study Spotlight was presented by David Formula, Chief Information Officer, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk, showcasing a real-world transformation journey with measurable business impact and ROI-driven outcomes.
The HP Technology Showcase featured Juliana Cen, Managing Director, HP Indonesia, along with the HP leadership team, highlighting ethical AI, digital transformation, and cybersecurity.
A networking dinner session followed, providing attendees with an opportunity to engage with peers, partners, and technology leaders in an informal setting.
One of the most impactful sessions of the evening was the panel discussion “BUILD: Why Women in Tech Matter (And How to Accelerate Them)”, which brought together leading voices in technology and business to discuss inclusion, leadership, and accelerating women’s advancement in the tech industry.
The session was moderated by Yessie Yosetya, Director & Chief Information Technology Officer, PT XLSMART Telecom Sejahtera Tbk, and featured an esteemed panel comprising:

The summit further marked the inauguration of the Global CIO Forum’s Woman in Tech Ambassador Initiative, led by Anushree Dixit, Chief Strategy Officer, Global CIO Forum, followed by the Women Leaders Award Recognition Ceremony, honoring women leaders driving innovation and transformation across industries.
The evening continued with a leadership session from CAST, featuring Akhil Minocha, Vice President of Sales Enterprises APJ, CAST, who presented “Clarity in the Agentic Age: Future of Building Software.”
This was followed by a session from JumpCloud, delivered by Mohammed Ashwaq Khan, Strategic Solutions Architect, JumpCloud, focusing on modern identity and access management in digital enterprises.
The summit concluded with the prestigious CIO 200 Recognition & Felicitation Ceremony, honoring Indonesia’s top CIOs and technology leaders for their contributions to innovation, digital transformation, cybersecurity, and enterprise leadership. The evening ended with networking sessions, media interactions, group photographs, and partner engagements, marking the successful conclusion of the Indonesia Edition.
