WSO2, a global leader in digital transformation solutions and services, announced its debut participation in Gitex Technology Week, where the company will showcase how its open-source and cloud-native technologies can be the keystone in organisations’ digital transformation initiatives, enabling them to deliver modern, secure digital services.

At WSO2’s Gitex booth, visitors can gain insights into how the company can empower their organisations to accelerate their digital transformation. Experts will be on hand to answer questions and engage with attendees, regardless of what stage they are at in their digital transformation journey. Gitex delegates will also get a sneak peek at Choreo, WSO2’s public beta integration platform-as-a-service offering. Choreo is a low-code, cloud-native engineering platform that reduces time to market from weeks to hours.

The announcement follows the expansion of WSO2’s presence in the region with the opening of new offices in Dubai in August, a move made in response to the 70% surge seen in its regional customer base over the last 18 months. The company appointed Uday Shankar Kizhepat as Vice President and General Manager for its MEA operations, to spearhead the expansion.

Enterprises throughout the world are speeding up their digital transformation initiatives, with many starting years earlier than expected. Too often, however, these attempts are impeded by a lack of deep technical competence required to launch projects and deliver quality digital products and solutions. Furthermore, legal requirements prompted certain organisations to handle the surge in eCommerce transactions via customer identity and access management, another area in which WSO2 excels.

Products that WSO2 will demonstrate at Gitex Technology Week 2021 include WSO2 API Manager, which offers a single platform for building, integrating, and exposing digital services as managed APIs in the cloud, on-premises, and in hybrid architectures. WSO2 Identity Server is an API-driven, open-source, identity and access management solution that embraces a developer-first approach to lower costs, modernise and consolidate IAM and CIAM capabilities, as well as accelerate time to market. WSO2’s Open Banking and Open Healthcare solutions are comprehensive technology and strategic consultancy offerings that help organisations in those industries to adhere to standards while maintaining agile business models.

“Our participation in Gitex, much like our decision to open our regional offices in Dubai, reinforces our longstanding and continued commitment to the region and the digital aspirations of its governments and businesses,” said Kizhepat.

“WSO2’s regional success has been driven by an unprecedented propensity for cloud migration, stemming from the need to reinvent the workplace amid lockdowns. We see Gitex as an amazing opportunity, not only to prove the power of our offerings, but to meet with existing and prospective customers and partners, and share our vision and roadmap for the future.”
