According to Linksys, Saudi Arabia’s requirement for fast and reliable internet access is driving buyers to their premium offerings. Linksys believes that consumers and SMBs are willing to make well-informed essential investments in IT to increase business productivity and enhance the connected wireless experience. “Users can feel an immediate improvement in network performance when they invest in Linksys wireless connectivity products, both for the home and the office. Not all technology is the same, and consumers know this, and are thus willing to pay for the best,” said Amanulla Khan, Managing Director, Linksys, Middle East, Turkey & Africa
For the consumer space, Linksys was the first to pioneer routers with MU-MIMO (Multi-User, Multiple-Input, Multiple Output) technology, which ensures uninterrupted Wi-Fi connectivity to all the devices in a home and function as if multiple devices have their own dedicated route.
Linksys has expanded its MU-MIMO portfolio, for the connected homes to include two additional routers, a range extender and a USB adapter. The range extenders are built with spot finder technology and a seamless roaming feature that connect smart devices automatically to the range extender providing uninterrupted connectivity.
Linksys invests heavily in engineering wireless platforms creating a unique user experience complementing the cloud-based service offered with the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Routers and the latest WRT routers. Another upcoming consumer trend, observed by Linksys is the migrations to a Smart Home, where consumers can remotely access their home appliance through apps.
