GEC NEWS WIREIntroduces myUltraSpeed and myConnect targeted at gamers and portable computer users respectively
Under the family name “myDisplay”, AOC has introduced the two latest Style Line members of its showpiece product range. The myUltraSpeed is a 24″ Full HD model mainly targeted at gamers. On the other hand, the new 15.6″ ultra-mobile myConnect has its plug-and-play USB connectivity to enhance the experience of notebook users by extending desktop real estate. AOC myUltra-Speed and myConnect will be unveiled at Gitex.
Equipped with a LED-backlit TN panel, the myUltraSpeed, the model is also listed as g2460Pqu, delivers crisp images with a 144 Hz refresh rate. AOC decks out the myUltraSpeed with an integrated USB hub with four connectors, including a fast-charge USB port for mobile devices, a headphone output and speakers. In addition, the monitor is ergonomically fully flexible, offering height adjustment, tilt, swivel and pivot (portrait mode) function.
AOC has come up with a versatile monitor targeted at users of netbooks, notebooks or other portable computers. A single USB 3.0 cable connects the ultra-slim (0.09″ / 22.9 mm) WXGA model with a notebook, for instance, providing mobile users with a dual monitor set-up. The Style Line monitor is not only supplied with video signals via the USB cable, but also with power. The myConnect model named as e1659Fwu increases the desktop space by its screen diagonal of 15.6”. The monitor stand can be rotated. With the Smart Auto Pivot function, the content displayed will automatically be rotated as well. For ease of transport and for safe keeping of this ultra-portable lightweight display, a soft sleeve is included in the delivery.
As with all other monitors of its range, AOC offers a 3-year carry in warranty on the myDisplay models.
