Industry’s First In-Line Encryption Capabilities for Modular Routers
As Brocade’s contribution to enhancing enterprise security, the company can now deliver in-line encryption capabilities for its MLXe router family, thus eliminating the need for additional security appliances while promising no negative impact on network performance.
According to Yarob Sakhnini, regional director MEMA at Brocade. “As a wire-speed encryption solution that is well suited to delivering security in public and private cloud environments, and across high-performance WANs, we see our telecom, government and enterprise customers benefiting from it.”
Brocade offers two modules, one which supports 200 Gbsp MACsec encryption and a second which offers both IPsec and MACsec at up to 44 Gbps wire-speed performance. Built on a programmable architecture with high-density 100 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE), 40 GbE, and 10 GbE routing, these routers meet massive bandwidth demands, while maximizing ROI.
