Cyberoam Expands Distribution Tie-Up with FDC to Strengthen Presence in the Middle East
Cyberoam and FDC International have decided to take their distribution tie up to the next level. FDC will now be responsible for distributing Cyberoam products in UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Jordan and Lebanon.
This decision is in line with Cyberoam’s objective of strengthening its footprint in emerging network security markets. According to reports, the security market in Middle East is projected to be worth $25bn over the next ten years. The Middle East is a growing market for network security solutions as the complexity and incidences of network security threats in the region are going up. The region known for its oil business has been taking cyber threats seriously after the cyberattack on Qatari Natural Gas Company hit headlines in 2012. Cyberoam believes this is the right time to entrench its presence in the region as a provider of reliable next generation network security products.
Commenting on the expansion, Mr. Ravinder Janotra, Cyberoam’s Regional Manager Middle East said, “We strongly believe that extending this collaboration with FDC will help our suite of security products reach businesses which want to secure their networks with solutions that deliver sustainable ROI over the long run.”
The Business Unit Head of ProValue, MENA, at FDC, Mr.Rajashekhar says, “Our widespread distribution network across countries like UAE, Bahrain, Qatar and others will help Cyberoam increase its footprint in the Middle East market; the quality and successful track record of the company’s products and its reputation on the market will allow us to increase our distribution revenue. It’s a win-win situation.”
