Cloudflare will present its vision for secure, agentic AI infrastructure at LEAP 2026 in Riyadh. As Saudi Arabia accelerates its digital transformation under Vision 2030, the company will demonstrate how organisations can build and protect AI applications using integrated connectivity cloud services, focusing on visibility, identity for AI agents, and real-time threat protection.
As Saudi Arabia continues to accelerate its digital transformation and adoption of artificial intelligence, Cloudflare will demonstrate how organisations can build AI applications, protect them against emerging threats, and establish the security and governance foundations required to scale AI responsibly. Executives from the company at LEAP will engage with government leaders, enterprises, technology partners and developers on the opportunities and challenges created by the rapid adoption of AI across the Kingdom and wider region.
“Saudi Arabia is moving rapidly from experimenting with AI to putting it into production, and that shift changes the infrastructure organisations need,” said Ercan Aydin, Area Vice President for the Middle East, Turkey & Africa at Cloudflare. “AI applications need to be secure from the start, AI traffic needs to be visible and governed, and AI agents need identities and permissions just like people do. The opportunity is enormous, but organisations cannot afford to build AI at the expense of security and control, whether identity or cost.”
At LEAP, Cloudflare will showcase its integrated approach to securing and accelerating AI workloads across the enterprise. Cloudflare’s connectivity cloud brings together security, connectivity, developer services and AI capabilities, enabling organisations to protect users, applications and networks while building and deploying new AI-powered experiences.
Among the technologies Cloudflare will highlight are:
- Cloudflare One, providing Zero Trust security to protect users, applications and networks.
- Cloudflare Workers, enabling developers to deploy applications, code and AI workloads at the edge with ultra-low latency and without traditional container overhead.
- Firewall for AI, helping protect large language model applications from threats including prompt injection and data leakage.
- AI Gateway, providing visibility and control over AI traffic, models and costs.
- AI Crawl Control and Pay Per Crawl, giving publishers and enterprises greater control over how AI companies access and use their content.
- Cloudflare’s growing suite of agentic AI infrastructure, including isolated Sandboxes, Cloudflare Mesh, persistent Agent Memory, AI Search and native OAuth governance, designed to help organisations build, secure and scale autonomous AI agents.
Together, these capabilities are designed to address an increasingly important challenge for enterprises: securing AI across the full lifecycle, from the people using AI tools and the applications being built, to the autonomous agents increasingly acting on behalf of organisations.
As AI adoption accelerates, Aydin believes one of the biggest security gaps facing organisations is not a lack of technology, but a lack of visibility. “Most organisations don’t yet have a complete picture of how AI is being used inside their business or what AI traffic is already reaching their digital properties,” said Aydin. “Employees may be sharing sensitive information with public AI models, while organisations are also facing an increasingly complex landscape of automated AI traffic. You can’t protect what you can’t see.”
Cloudflare’s approach is designed to bring that visibility together with security controls, helping organisations identify AI-related activity, prevent data leakage, manage uncontrolled API costs and secure incoming traffic.
The challenge is becoming even more significant as AI agents evolve from passive tools into active participants in enterprise environments. “AI agents are becoming users on your network,” added Aydin. “They log in, they act and they make decisions at machine speed. Enterprises need to start treating identity for agents as seriously as identity for people, giving every agent the right permissions, its own identity and an auditable trail of activity. An agent with excessive access and no oversight can quickly become a significant security risk.”

Recent Cloudflare research has highlighted the continued evolution of the threat landscape, including the rise of increasingly powerful DDoS attacks. Cloudflare’s H1 2026 DDoS Threat Report reported a surge in attacks reaching the terabit-per-second range, underscoring the growing scale and sophistication of threats facing organisations. Aydin believes this growing speed will make AI an increasingly important part of the defensive toolkit.
“Attacks are already being exploited at a speed that can challenge human security teams, and AI will push that closer to real time,” said Aydin. “The security teams that come out ahead won’t necessarily be the ones with the most people. They will be the ones that use AI to handle the speed and scale of threats, while their people focus on judgment, strategy and the decisions that machines cannot make.”
Cloudflare’s presence at LEAP will focus on conversations with the organisations building Saudi Arabia’s digital future, from government and large enterprises to technology partners and developers. “Success for us isn’t measured by how many conversations we have at the stand,” said Aydin. “It’s measured by what happens after LEAP. Organisations taking ideas from these conversations and putting secure AI workloads into production, partnerships moving from discussion to delivery, and developers building the next generation of applications on infrastructure they can trust.”
