In the Gartner Magic Quadrant For Communications Outsourcing and Professional Services For Third Consecutive Year

Dimension Data has been positioned by Gartner in the Leaders Quadrant of the Magic Quadrant for Communications Outsourcing and Professional Services (COPS) 2013, report for the third consecutive year. Dimension Data is one of only two organisations positioned in the Leaders Quadrant three years in a row, the press release announced.

Compiled by Gartner analysts, the Magic Quadrant examined 18 vendors of IT services for business communications systems worldwide, employing two main evaluation criteria. These include ‘ability to execute’ and ‘completeness of vision’.

Dimension Data CEO, Brett Dawson said, “Maintaining our position as one of the six leading organisations in the world for the ‘ability to execute’ and ‘completeness of vision’, is a tremendous honour for the Group, and I feel it emphasises our philosophy of putting our clients are at the centre of everything we do. In addition, our acquisition of telecom expense management provider Xigo only 20 months ago in February 2012, is also paying off. When we acquired Xigo, our goal was to accelerate the Group’s offerings in the managed communications space. Today, Dimension Data delivers services to multi-national clients across the world. In addition, earlier this month the Group also announced its Communications Lifecycle Management services portfolio which gives clients visibility into – and control of – all their voice, data, fixed, mobile, local and global communications costs wherever they do business.”

“Our global scale, footprint and reach, combined with our ability to offer our clients a complete suite of services across the IT infrastructure − is unmatched in the marketplace,” said Dawson.
