Expanding footprint and client demand for next-generation data centre services fuelling growth

Dimension Data is all set to hire an additional 300 data centre experts over the next 18 months; a move vital to the group’s ambition to quadruple its data centre business from USD 1 billion to USD 4 billion by 2018. Steve Joubert, Group Executive of Dimension Data’s Data Centre Business Unit says the company’s success has always been based on the quality of its people. “As a provider of solutions and services, not an equipment manufacturer, we are dependent on the quality and skill of great people to help us deliver the best service to our clients.

Joubert adds that with NTT’s backing, they’re in a strong position to disrupt the market with their value proposition, footprint and people, and take market share. Globally, Dimension Data has been recognised as an employer of choice, most recently has been recognised as one of Achievers 50 most engaged places to work in the US.
