GEC NEWS WIRERecognition of efforts in implementing the vision of emirate’s transformation into the city of the future
In line with its efforts to consolidate its relations with public and private sector entities, Dubai Smart Government (DSG) recently honoured its key partners for their roles in achieving its Strategic Vision 2014-2017 of transforming Dubai into the world’s smartest city. The Department firmly believes in the importance of such cooperation in providing their support and expertise in the emirate’s shift towards a ‘smart’ government.
The awarding ceremony was attended by DSG’s senior management, including H.E. Ahmed Bin Humaidan, and Marwan Bin Haider, Executive Director of the Planning and Development Department.
In his speech, H.E. Bin Humaidan praised the spirit of cooperation and coordination that prevails between DSG and the government entities on one hand and the private sector on the other. He emphasized that the government departments should benefit from the capabilities and infrastructure owned by DSG along with the expertise possessed by the private entities.
