Plans series of workshops, lectures and iTalks that will all highlight DSG’s strategy and how to take advantage of, analyze and classify big data and usage of government services
Dubai Smart Government Department (DSG) is actively participating in UAE Innovation Week between 22 – 28 November, with a range of events, demonstrations and smart services. This is in response to the call of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to celebrate innovation this week and create a stimulating environment for the next generation.
H.E. Ahmad Bin Humaidan, DSG Director General, said: “We are working in accordance with our 2014-2017 strategy (called SG21) to innovate and design connected government”
Bin Humaidan stated that DSG would launch a bouquet of its latest smart services and apps that reflect its vision. These include the innovative Dubai Now app, featuring more than 53 smart services provided by 22 government entities; the MyID service for single log-in to Dubai Government’s services; and mJobs, a mobile government job app, from DSG’s government resources planning systems, which represents DSG’s strategy of providing a single window for customers with the aim of easing their lives and bringing happiness to them.
Throughout UAE Innovation Week, DSG has planned a series of activities for all segments of society, including testing apps and services for those with special needs or disabilities. In parallel, there are a number of workshops, lectures and iTalks that will all highlight DSG’s strategy and how to take advantage of, analyze and classify big data and usage of government services.
