Virgin Hyperloop One aims to connect all major cities in the Gulf in less than one hour by working with governments, regulators and the private sector. When hours become minutes everything changes. Virgin Hyperloop One can usher in a truly transformational shift in mass transit by delivering an all-electric, ultra-high-speed transport system – transporting more passengers and freight, at faster-than-airline speeds, for less energy and near zero emissions than any other form of transport in history.

“At this year’s edition of Gitex, we are featuring our Virgin Hyperloop One passenger pod prototype and DP World CargoSpeed. The pod has attracted nearly 2,000 visitors on the first two days and attention from media, all eager to learn more about our project pipeline in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, India and US,” said Harj Dhaliwal, Managing Director, Middle East and India, Virgin Hyperloop One.
Virgin Hyperloop One is participating at Gitex for the first time. Future passengers and stakeholders are excited about the Virgin Hyperloop One system and its tremendous benefits. Most people spoken to wanted to know when it will be operational. Hyperloop is the fifth mode of transportation.
“We have been waiting 100 years for a solution to solve 21st century transportation problems. We are working to make hyperloop a reality in years not decades. At the rate of progress with our current projects, we anticipate the first Virgin Hyperloop One system to be operational by 2027,” elaborates Dhaliwal.
