Fujitsu has launched a new model of ScanSnap document scanner series: the Fujitsu ScanSnap iX100. This is an ultra-portable solution with built-in Wi-Fi connectivity and Li ion battery. It has been designed to support the needs of business professionals. Weighing just 400g and scanning at a speed of 5.2 seconds per page (A4, colour, 200/300 dpi) it is the fastest in its class to date.
“Our ScanSnap iX100 is a tiny and highly reliable scanning partner that greatly enhances the efficiency of the mobile workforce.” says Mike Nelson, Vice President at PFU Imaging Solutions Europe Ltd.
The Fujitsu ScanSnap iX100 supports Windows, Mac OS, Android and iOS. The scanner will be available at Fujitsu sales partners starting 9 September 2014. The recommended retail price is 183 £ (229 €, 297 $) plus VAT.
