At GITEX 2025, Western Digital is partnering with Redington, QNAP, and Asbis Middle East to demonstrate HDDs fundamental role in the AI era. In collaboration with them, Western Digital is showcasing the importance of HDD and platform solutions for the IT ecosystem and demonstrating their fundamental role in the cloud and AI era.

At GITEX, Western Digital is showcasing its highest-capacity HDDs, including 32TB Ultrastar and 26TB WD Red Pro HDDs, alongside its Platform solutions, including JBODs, JBOFs and NVMe-oF solutions. These innovations form the backbone of next-generation AI, cloud, and NAS workloads, enabling businesses in the region to scale efficiently, optimise infrastructures, and stay competitive in data-driven markets.

Western Digital’s credo is simple: No HDDs, No AI. Hard drives are the foundation of AI workloads and power the region’s data potential at scale.

At partner booths, this will be made tangible through product and live demonstrations as well as with discussions with our expert team on the ground. This way, visitors can not only read about the capabilities of our solutions in the AI age but can see live video streams and augmented reality experiences of our products. Showing innovations in action underpins how they make scalable, efficient infrastructures for AI deployments at any size.

Western Digital has a long history of HDD innovation and continues to push the technology’s boundaries. At GITEX 2025, Western Digital is showing the 11-platter HDDs alongside HelioSeal, energy-assisted perpendicular magnetic recording, ePMR, and UltraSMR technologies. By using these proven technologies, we can take areal density to a new level while maintaining efficiency and performance.

These innovations also enable customers to seamlessly scale their AI and cloud storage density without increasing their physical footprint or their total cost of ownership, achieving a low watts per terabyte, with economy at scale.
