Huawei has reinforced its commitment to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 at LEAP 2026, presenting a full-stack AI value proposition. The strategy spans connectivity, compute, and cloud services, supported by local talent development and high-security infrastructure to drive value across the Kingdom’s key industries.
Saudi Arabia’s ICT market has reached US$53 billion, growing 89.5% since 2017. The digital economy now contributes 16% of GDP, while 5G coverage has reached 86%, positioning the Kingdom to move from a strong digital foundation toward the next stage of AI-driven growth. This transition requires more than AI applications — it calls for full-stack capabilities spanning connectivity, compute, cloud, and ecosystem enablement.
Huawei is advancing its AI-enhanced products, including Agentic RAN, AI OTN, and AI WAN, alongside core connectivity technologies such as 5G, routers, and DWDM. Investing more than 20% of its annual revenue in R&D, the firm has developed in-house capabilities spanning network chips, general-purpose compute chips, AI chips, storage, and optical modules. Huawei also continues to foster an open technology ecosystem through platforms such as HarmonyOS, openEuler, and GaussDB, along with its large-scale AI infrastructure which includes the Atlas SuperPoD, supporting up to 8,192 NPUs.

By combining connectivity, full-stack compute, and AI Cloud, Huawei works with global and local partners to deploy AI applications across key sectors in Saudi Arabia, including government, energy, and finance.Its AI-Centric Network features lossless transmission, network autonomy, performance assurance, and built-in security. To address compute requirements, Huawei supplies large-scale, full-stack proprietary computing capabilities. Furthermore, Huawei Cloud operates (Class C) 3AZ public cloud nodes, the Kingdom’s highest security classification, keeping data within national borders while delivering response times under 25 ms to support sovereign AI and digital security requirements.
Huawei is also strengthening its local ecosystem to support the long-term development of Saudi Arabia’s AI industry. The company works with more than 800 global industry independent software vendors (ISVs), 1500 local system integrators (SIs) , and 300 delivery partners to bring together technology, industry expertise, and local capabilities. Through over 30 ICT Academies in Saudi Arabia, Huawei supports the development of local talent, with 10,000 ICT professionals trained annually, helping strengthen the Kingdom’s local innovation and digital skills.
