Infocomm Group, a leading mobile, wireless, smart parking solutions and ICT services provider headquartered in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, has signed up to be Aruba’s Managed Service Provider, MSP, in Oman. In addition to this, Infocomm was recognised as a Platinum Partner in the Aruba Partner Ready for Networking Program with Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

Infocomm have fulfilled Platinum level competencies and completed noteworthy projects in the country which has enabled them to reach this level. Platinum Certified Partners are recognised for having some of the industry’s best-trained network engineers and demonstrating the highest level of expertise in planning, designing, implementing, and supporting complex networking, security, and wireless solutions.

As organisations look for more efficient ways to utilise IT resources to meet growing mobile, BYOD and IoT expectations, many are opting to outsource their applications, security and networking needs. Cloud managed networks allow organizations with limited internal IT resources or know how to offload the deployment, management and monitoring of their network to trusted partners, without having to do it themselves. This allows organisations to move from a CAPEX model to a more predictable service experience and an OPEX-based consumption model. Infocomm with its Aruba MSP status can now offer organizations various services which can move from CAPEX to OPEX based consumption models.

Due to the tough times everyone witnessed during the pandemic, keeping employees connected was vital for  business continuity. Infocomm, as a customer-centric company, took an action for an increased efficiency. Working from home has become easier with the Aruba cloud managed network, employees will not only be able to enjoy a convenient, secure and direct access to the needed information and resources, but also to work and interact with their colleagues without interruption. Each and every employee have the authority to safely access their corporate network, delivering the in-office experience to work from home.

Infocomm, using a combination of Aruba’s integrated wired, wireless, security, network management, as well as built-in location solutions, are enabling users to enjoy an elevated, seamless, and secure connected experience. Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, understands the changing customers’ demands and businesses’ needs, and the rapidly evolving technologies. Intending to provide greater flexibility, connectivity, and security for all network operations, Aruba adapts a cloud-native approach and principles that deliver performance, automation, and analytics. Infocomm makes this possible with flawless execution.

Nitin Awasthi, ICT Division Head at Infocomm Group, said, “Infocomm is privileged to be Aruba’s exclusive Platinum partner in the country and realises the potential in the vision Aruba has. We want to align our goals as we believe Aruba is the future. At its core, the solutions Aruba is rolling out maintain the ease of use and the openness to integrate with other vendors, which makes our value proposition stronger. Similarly, the newly launched Edge Services platform which spans from Connect, Protect, Analyse and Act is something that encapsulates the essence of integrated network services.”

Yehia Elmasy, Country Manager, Gulf, Egypt and Levant) at Aruba, said, “Infocomm has always been our key partners for us in Oman and now with them becoming the Authorised Managed Service Partner, we can now bring our  EDGE Service Platform to the market in as-a service model which can be leveraged by any company using OPEX model/ service subscription”
