Microsoft, the UAE Cyber Security Council and Core42 have announced the deployment of MDASH, an AI-powered cybersecurity capability, across UAE government entities. The initiative aims to enhance national cyber resilience, prioritise risk management and ensure code safety through advanced AI models and sovereign cloud infrastructure.

The collaboration aims to strengthen national cyber resilience, accelerate secure digital transformation and help government security teams respond faster to evolving threats.

MDASH uses advanced AI models and automated analysis to identify vulnerabilities, prioritize risks and improve security posture at speed and scale.

The initiative supports the UAE’s ambition to build a trusted, resilient digital ecosystem and equip government organizations with advanced cyber defense capabilities.

Under the proposed collaboration, CSC will support government adoption and responsible use of AI for cybersecurity through the UAE’s National AI Test and Validation Lab. Core42, through its Sovereign Public Cloud offering in partnership with Microsoft will provide onboarding, implementation and capacity-building support, with a focus on security, privacy and operational resilience.

The collaboration reinforces the UAE’s ambition to lead in digital innovation while building one of the world’s most advanced cyber ecosystems.

H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cyber Security for the UAE Government, said: “Code safety is a national priority and a cornerstone of cyber resilience. As AI becomes integral to government and critical services, securing the code that underpins these systems must be built in from the outset, not treated as an afterthought. Bringing MDASH capabilities to the UAE is a major catalyst for wider adoption of AI-powered code security across government and our national digital ecosystem.”

Microsoft will provide technical expertise, onboarding and implementation guidance for participating government entities.

Hayete Gallot, Executive Vice President, Security and Emerging Technologies at Microsoft, said: “Governments around the world are increasingly looking to AI as a force multiplier to protect the nation, its critical assets, and people. AI can be a powerful tool for cybersecurity. Together with the UAE Cyber Security Council and Core42, we will help government organizations strengthen resilience, improve cyber readiness and build capacity for emerging threats.”

Core42 will provide local expertise, integration with their sovereign controls platform and implementation services to support MDASH deployment across participating government organizations.

Talal M. Al Kaissi, Chief Executive Officer, Core42 said:”The UAE has made a deliberate choice to lead in AI adoption. That leadership brings a responsibility to ensure our digital infrastructure is secure, resilient and trusted. This collaboration combines world-class AI security capabilities with sovereign infrastructure and local expertise, giving government entities access to advanced cyber defense capabilities while keeping security, privacy and operational control at the center. Core42, along with the wider G42 ecosystem are well positioned to help amplify the benefits of this partnership to our customers.”

The parties plan a phased rollout, beginning with awareness sessions, pilots, technical workshops and onboarding for government entities.

The initiative will help government organizations protect critical services, strengthen trust and prepare for the next generation of cyber threats.
