Microsoft concluded its successful participation at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference (ADIPEC) 2019, as the company demonstrated a range of technological innovations to empower the energy sector in achieving more.
Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, the four-day event attracted over 145,000+ visitors from 135 countries to conduct business, exchange knowledge and address today’s energy challenges to define tomorrow’s energy landscape.
“We see ADIPEC as a remarkable global platform for the energy industry players to connect and exchange knowledge.” said Omar Saleh, Head of Energy & Manufacturing, Microsoft Middle East & Africa. “Our continued participation at this event is a reflection of Microsoft’s commitment to empowering business transformation across the industry.”
“Currently, the energy sector can make the most out of our cloud regions by availing enterprise-grade reliability and performance, combined with data residency and the broadest compliance standards.” Added Saleh. “Microsoft’s intelligent cloud can play a remarkable role in disrupting traditional ways, drive value, and deliver innovation across the industry”.
