Salam and KAROOOOO have formed a strategic partnership to accelerate connected fleet and mobility solutions in Saudi Arabia. Announced at LEAP 2026, the collaboration will see Salam distribute KAROOOOO’s Cartrack technology and co-develop value-added services. The initiative aims to provide Saudi businesses with data-driven insights and enhanced fleet management capabilities.

The collaboration brings together Salam’s established telecommunications infrastructure and market reach with KAROOOOO’s proven expertise in vehicle tracking and fleet intelligence technology. The two companies will explore how KAROOOOO’s Cartrack product portfolio can be meaningfully integrated into Salam’s existing service offerings, with the aim of enhancing and broadening the solutions available to Salam’s client base across Saudi Arabia.

Abdullah Khorami, Chief Business Officer at Etihad Salam Telecom Company (Salam) said: “At Salam, our mission has always been to deliver meaningful, future-ready solutions that empower our clients and contribute to Saudi Arabia’s digital evolution. Our partnership with KAROOOOO is a natural extension of that commitment, combining our telecommunications capabilities and market reach with their proven expertise in connected vehicle technology. Together, we have the opportunity to redefine how businesses across the Kingdom manage mobility and leverage data-driven insights, and we look forward to bringing that vision to life.”

A central focus of the partnership will be Salam distributing and reselling KAROOOOO’s products within its market. Beyond distribution, the two companies intend to jointly develop value-added services built on KAROOOOO’s technology platform, tailored specifically to meet the needs of Salam’s clients and aligned with the evolving demands of the Saudi market.

Zak Calisto, Founder and Group CEO, KAROOOOO said: “Salam’s deep-rooted presence in the market and its reputation for innovation make them the ideal partner to help bring the full potential of our Cartrack product portfolio to a wider audience. Through this partnership, we are well-positioned to deliver intelligent, connected solutions that address real-world challenges for businesses operating across the Kingdom.”

The collaboration reflects Salam’s continued commitment to expanding its technology-driven service capabilities and delivering innovative solutions that create tangible value for its customers. For KAROOOOO, the partnership represents a significant opportunity to deepen its presence in Saudi Arabia through a strategically positioned and widely connected telecommunications partner. The announcement at LEAP 2026 underscores both companies’ shared ambition to contribute to Saudi Arabia’s broader digital transformation agenda, positioning connected mobility and intelligent fleet solutions as a key pillar of the country’s technology-enabled future.
