Smart Dubai signs MoU with University of Dubai

The Smart Dubai Office and the University of Dubai have signed a memorandum of understanding to bolster their partnership in the field of exchanging knowledge, expertise and experience and streamlining their channels of communication.

The MoU was signed by H.E. Dr. Aisha Bint Butti Bin Bishr, Director General of Smart Dubai Office, and Dr. Essa Al Bastaki, President of the University of Dubai.

Areas of collaboration include various parameters like, the University of Dubai will be able to view the data available at Smart Dubai Office with the aim of conducting joint research and studies. The University of Dubai will hold introductory and training workshops for the employees of government entities, conduct field trials and throw light on the smart devices used as an applied pattern. The University of Dubai will develop academic and training programmes in the field of smart transformation and related fields. The University of Dubai and SDG will collaborate to design and hold joint activities aimed at increasing and conveying knowledge in the society by attracting smart city-dedicated global conferences into Dubai
