Launches VPL-VW300ES projector

Sony has expanded its home cinema projector offering with the announcement of the new 4K VPL-VW300ES, showcased for the first time at IFA. The VPL-VW300ES has been introduced to expand Sony’s 4K home cinema range to bring true 4K home cinema experience to a wider audience. It is the most cost-effective native 4K projector in the market to date, sitting alongside the award-winning VPL-VW1100ES and VPL-VW500ES Sony 4K projectors that deliver four times the resolution of Full HD.

Sony is unrivalled in its ability to offer breathtaking image quality through 4K native resolution(4,096×2,160), giving the viewer a truly immersive experience. The VPL-VW300ES uses Sony’s 4K SXRDpanel technology to achieve high resolution images without the need to compromise between deep contrast and fast motion capabilities. These 4K features, combined with a lower price point than the VPL-VW1100ES and VPL-VW500ES, enable the VPL-VW300ES to bring Sony’s ultimate home cinema experience to an even wider audience.

The VPL-VW300ES incorporates Sony’s proprietary TRILUMINOS technology, an enhanced optical engine design which gives rich colour reproduction. This works in conjunction with the projector’s 1,500 lumens brightness to engineer a wider colour space for more vibrant tones and increased precision. Motionflow picture technology also serves to deliver clearer, less blurry images when watching fast-paced, cinematic action. The projector also comes with low latency mode for gamers and a set of easy to control options for enhanced home automation capability.

The VPL-VW300ES supports the latest connectivity standards through HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2, enabling users to enjoy up-to-date 4K content services
