The focus on security has evolved from just IT networks into OT and IoT environments as well, as attackers alter their direction and seek newer attack vectors. In accordance with Gartner research on OT Security Best Practices in 2018, “The converging of IT and OT systems, combined with increased use of IoT in industrial environments, is challenging many security practices in defining the best security architecture that aligns to transforming and modernizing environments”.

To understand and address customer challenges related to the convergence of IT, OT and IoT systems and standards in the Middle East, Spire Solutions will highlight relevant solutions at the Gulf Information Security Expo and Conference (GISEC) 2019.

“We have been participating at GISEC since its instantiation 6 years ago, and as with each previous year, we are excited about our participation this year as well. As a cybersecurity solutions and services VAD focused in the Middle East, each year we elect to align with GISEC at the highest level of participation, and this year we are a Strategic Sponsor”, commented Sanjeev Walia, Founder and President at Spire Solutions.

The technologies represented by Spire Solutions this year include: Threat Exposure Management, Cybersecurity Scoring & Risk Analysis, EDR, SOAR, Digital Risk Protection, Email Security, Cyber Threat Intelligence & Analysis, IT Management & Monitoring, DMARC Email Authentication and 3rd Generation Security Awareness & Training.

“Several of our participating vendors will be speaking on the Main Stage, including the keynote, as well as, the Dark Stage. We will also be showcasing two extra features this year. ‘Kevin Mitnick’, the world’s most famous hacker, will be visiting our stand on April 1st for a book signing, and we will be hosting a VIP CISO roundtable on April 2nd to address the key business challenge, ‘Building an Intelligence Powered Cyber Defense Strategy’, added Mr. Walia.
