TP-Link Systems has announced its next-generation Wi-Fi 8 portfolio, featuring the Archer 8 Ultra router and Deco 8 Ultra mesh system. Utilising the IEEE 802.11bn standard and StabilityEngine technology, the lineup focuses on enhancing reliability, coverage, and performance. The range is scheduled for a UAE launch in December 2026 following its global reveal at IFA 2026.
Built on the upcoming IEEE 802.11bn standard, the lineup combines next-generation Wi-Fi technology with TP-Link’s proprietary hardware and software to deliver a new level of reliable home connectivity.
As connected homes continue to evolve in the UAE, consumers increasingly rely on their home networks to support everything from high-quality streaming and gaming to smart home devices, remote working and other bandwidth-intensive applications. TP-Link’s Wi-Fi 8 portfolio is designed to address these evolving demands by focusing not only on speed, but also on stability, coverage and reliability.
Built for Reliability
Wi-Fi 8 goes beyond incremental speed gains to address the connectivity problems people actually notice: weak coverage at the edges of the home, congestion as more devices compete for bandwidth, and interference that can make connections inconsistent.
TP-Link’s Wi-Fi 8 StabilityEngine, the foundation of the Archer 8 Ultra and Deco 8 Ultra, is designed to address all three. It strengthens coverage, manages congestion and reduces interference for a more consistent connection throughout the home.
It draws on a suite of next-generation technologies to make this possible:
- Enhanced Long Range (ELR) and Distributed Resource Units (DRU) extend coverage at the edges of the home and improve uplink performance for distant, low-power devices.
- Non-Primary Channel Access (NPCA) helps keep the network responsive as more devices connect at once.
- Unequal Modulation (UEQM) and new Modulation and Coding Schemes (MCS) help maintain consistent throughput even in challenging interference conditions.
Meet the Lineup
Archer 8 Ultra BN19000 (Archer BN800)
The Archer 8 Ultra is a tri-band Wi-Fi 8 router delivering up to 19 Gbps of aggregate wireless speeds and 10 Gbps wired connectivity. Its 18 internal high-performance antennas are designed to provide strong, consistent coverage throughout the home.

Deco 8 Ultra BN22000 (Deco BN85)
The Deco 8 Ultra is a tri-band Wi-Fi 8 mesh system delivering up to 22 Gbps of aggregate wireless speeds and 10 Gbps wired connectivity. A three-pack provides up to 9,800 sq. ft. of whole-home coverage and supports more than 200 connected devices.
With the number of connected devices in UAE households continuing to grow, the Deco 8 Ultra is designed to provide reliable whole-home connectivity while supporting multiple connected devices and bandwidth-intensive applications simultaneously.
Where Form Meets Function
Traditional routers often get hidden away because of their looks, potentially limiting the very performance they are meant to deliver. Wi-Fi 8 presented an opportunity for TP-Link to challenge that, with a design that invites people to place their networking devices where performance peaks.
The Archer 8 Ultra takes a minimalist, architectural form. A dual-tone grille adds depth, its micropatterns catching the light at different angles, while a soft emissive glow shows device status in place of the cluttered indicator LEDs of a typical router.
The Deco 8 Ultra refines the familiar Deco form around a sense of duality. Organic edges and a compact footprint let it fit almost anywhere, pairing a matte body that settles into its surroundings with a glossy top that catches the eye.
“We stopped building a piece of networking equipment and started designing for the home,” said Gary Chang, Lead Industrial Designer at TP-Link. “When a router’s design becomes something people want to display, it ends up exactly where it performs best.”
Coming to the UAE in December 2026
“We are very excited to bring TP-Link’s next generation of Wi-Fi technology to the region. Consumers across META are quick to embrace new technologies, and we continue to see growing demand for faster, more reliable and future-ready connectivity,” said Lucas Jiang, Vice President of META, TP-Link.
“The UAE is an important market for technology adoption and innovation, which is why we plan to introduce the technology in UAE first, followed by a wider rollout across other META markets. Wi-Fi 8 represents an important step forward in the connected-home experience, and we look forward to bringing these innovations to consumers across the region.”
TP-Link will reveal full details of the Archer 8 Ultra, Deco 8 Ultra and its broader Wi-Fi 8 portfolio during a global online launch event on September 30, 2026.
