VMware will showcase its latest innovations in multi-cloud, apps modernisation, digital workspace, and security at Gitex Technology Week.

Aligning with Gitex’s theme of Creating a Bolder Digital Future Together, VMware will demonstrate how organisations can thrive amid current challenges by embracing a multi-cloud approach that provides the flexibility to launch modern applications and empower a secure, distributed workforce.

Visitors experience state-of-the-art technologies and witness first-hand how its solutions can help solve customers’ challenges. The company will showcase an enterprise-class modern applications development platform based on its Tanzu portfolio deployed across multi-cloud environments with intrinsic security. VMware will also showcase an exceptional end-user experience for distributed teams, using its cloud services to demonstrate VMware Anywhere Workspace with security tools and governance in place.

During the show, VMware will host several technology sessions, presenting its latest technologies and their use cases, including how Modern Apps and Multi-Cloud can help organisations develop and deploy software faster, run apps reliably at cloud scale, reduce risk and protect systems.

Visitors will also have the chance to attend sessions on solutions including Network Security, VMware NSX, Anywhere Workspace, and VMware Secure Access Service Edge. Each talk will include detailed use cases, enabling attendees to understand the transformative impact these solutions can have on their organisation.

Ahmed Auda, Managing Director – Middle East, Turkey and North Africa, VMware said, “Enterprises increasingly recognise the value of technology as an enabler of innovation, and continuity amid challenging times. VMware helps organisations from both the public and private sector to embrace a multi-cloud approach that opens-up a world of innovation while enhancing security and increasing agility. We look forward to meeting organisations from all sectors to demonstrate how they can continue to push the boundaries with technology.”

VMware is well-positioned to support organisations across the region with its transformation plans having expanded its regional HQ in Dubai Internet City earlier this year. Since opening its first regional office in Dubai in 2012, VMware has developed its Middle East operation from an entity with 26 employees to a regional hub with more than 500 staff committed to helping organisations in the UAE and beyond achieve their transformation goals by enabling unprecedented flexibility in how they build and evolve their digital environments and serve customers.
