The World CIO 200 Summit 2025 Grand Finale, hosted by the Global CIO Forum, officially began today in Cairo, marking the start of a spectacular 3-day celebration of technology leadership, collaboration, and culture.
Day 1 opened with the Egypt Country Edition Awards, honoring outstanding CIOs across categories – Next-Gen, Leader, Master, and Legend. The celebration set the tone by recognizing innovation and excellence in the Egyptian technology landscape.
The afternoon brought an exciting team experience with the Dragon Boat Race at Cairo University’s Rowing Club. CIOs and delegates grouped up, raced with energy, and celebrated unity, followed by a presentation ceremony and networking lunch.
As the sun set, the summit moved to the majestic Pyramids of Giza for a truly unforgettable evening. Highlights included:
