The World CIO 200 Summit – Bahrain Edition was successfully held virtually on 5 July 2026, under the patronage of His Excellency Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council of Bahrain, bringing together an influential gathering of policymakers, CIOs, researchers, academic leaders, and technology visionaries from around the world.

After a remarkable journey across multiple international editions, the summit arrived in Bahrain, further strengthening its mission of creating a global platform for digital leadership, innovation, and collaboration. Anchored in its four foundational pillars – Knowledge | Health | Human | Community – the World CIO 200 Summit continues to unite technology leaders from more than 60 countries, fostering a truly borderless ecosystem dedicated to innovation, resilience, and purpose-driven leadership.

Delivering the inaugural address, His Excellency Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council of Bahrain, highlighted the importance of visionary leadership, international collaboration, and responsible innovation in shaping the future of digital economies.

The summit was chaired by Dr. Jassim Haji, President of IGOAI and Chairman of the Conference, who emphasized the transformative role of artificial intelligence, ethical technology adoption, and global cooperation in accelerating sustainable digital transformation.

The distinguished speaker lineup featured renowned experts and thought leaders, including:

The global journey continues with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Edition on 8 July 2026, followed by several international editions across key regions before culminating at the World CIO 200 Grand Finale, scheduled to take place in Sri Lanka from 22–24 September 2026, where the world’s leading CIOs and digital leaders will gather to celebrate innovation, leadership, and excellence in technology.
