Mbrslp deliver more than 10,000 Microsoft Surface devices to all UAE Grade 10 students as part of the infrastructure revamp program

Mohammed Bin Rashid Smart Learning Program (MBRSLP) has successfully completed infrastructure and provision of all associated hardware and software for the academic year 2015- 2016. A key element of the completion has been the adoption of Microsoft’s Surface Devices – the 12-inch multi-touch screen tablet that can replace a laptop with reliable Windows and updated Microsoft Office365 solutions along with its integrated kickstand and surface “pro pen” that makes learning easier.

The rollout of the devices reflects the keenness of the UAE Government, represented by the Ministry of Education, and MBRSLP to provide students at participating schools with state-of-the-art technologies and prepare them to become future leaders.
“This is in line with the Program’s interests to optimize smart learning and to enable students to acquire complex skills and competencies needed to succeed in a knowledge-led economy and communicate effectively with their peers and teachers,” said H.E. Mohammed Gheyath, Director General of the MBRSLP.

“We are proud to partner with MBRSLP and tackle challenges associated with this change management as we continue to build capacity and capability, preparing coming generations in becoming a more future ready workforce,” said Samer Abu Ltaif, Regional General Manager, Microsoft Gulf.
