Qlik has expanded the availability of its Model Context Protocol (MCP) server to AWS and Databricks marketplaces. This move allows enterprises to integrate Qlik’s governed data and analytics context directly into AI agents and assistants, reducing the need to rebuild logic across different AI environments.
The announcement builds on the general availability of Qlik’s agentic analytics experience and MCP server earlier this year. As enterprises move from AI experimentation to operational use, many are still forcing assistants and agents to work with incomplete business context, duplicated analytics logic, ungoverned and incomplete data. Qlik MCP addresses that problem by exposing governed data access, exploration, lineage, calculations, and selected analytics and data workflows through an open standard. Instead of rebuilding that logic inside every new assistant or agent environment, teams can bring Qlik’s trusted intelligence layer into the AI experiences they are already adopting.
With availability now in AWS Marketplace and Databricks Marketplace, Qlik is extending that trusted intelligence layer into two of the most important environments where customers are building, deploying, and using AI. Databricks customers can now use their Universal Commits to purchase Qlik solutions directly through the Databricks Marketplace.
“Customers are not looking for another standalone AI surface,” said Josh Good, VP, Corporate Strategy at Qlik. “They want the agent frameworks they are already adopting to work with trusted business data, existing metrics, and the logic already embedded in their analytics and data workflows. By expanding Qlik MCP across AWS and Databricks, we are making it easier for customers to bring Qlik’s transformation and analytics strengths into those environments so AI can work with better context, greater efficiency, and more reliable outputs.”
What’s new
- AWS Marketplace availability: Qlik MCP is live in AWS Marketplace, extending Qlik’s trusted intelligence into AWS AI environments, including Amazon Bedrock
- Databricks Marketplace availability: Qlik MCP is now available in Databricks Marketplace, enabling governed Qlik Cloud data retrieval, exploration, lineage, and analytics workflows inside Databricks agent experience, enabling governed Qlik Cloud data retrieval, exploration, lineage, and analytics workflows inside Databricks agent experience.
- Practical enterprise use cases: Qlik sees three major patterns emerging: teams using MCP to build data pipelines faster, teams using Qlik as a trusted data source inside broader agent workflows, and teams directly querying Qlik through assistants for everyday business analysis.
Qlik’s expansion across partner ecosystems reflects its broader 2026 strategy: helping customers make data work for AI with trusted data products, a context-rich analytics engine, and an open agentic experience that fits into their existing environments and architectures.
