Veeam Software has announced the promotion of Veronica Oprea to Inside Sales Leader for EMEA, effective immediately.
Veronica brings more than six years of experience at Veeam, most recently serving as Director, Inside Sales EMEA South & Acting Inside Sales Leader EMEA. Based in Bucharest, she has led high-performing teams, driven operational excellence, and delivered outstanding results across multiple regions. Her leadership journey at Veeam includes managing large teams, developing sales strategies, and fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
During her tenure at Veeam, Veronica has held several key roles. As Director, Inside Sales EMEA South & Acting Inside Sales Leader EMEA, she has overseen operational excellence, business analysis, and led initiatives focused on employee development and change management. As Inside Sales Manager South Region, she drove business and revenue targets for the South region, leading a team that consistently achieved company objectives through strategic planning and performance analysis. As Inside Sales Team Leader Iberia led the Inside Sales organisation for Spain and Portugal, overachieving sales quotas for 10 consecutive quarters.
Prior to joining Veeam, Veronica held senior roles at Oracle, including Support Sales Manager for Hospitality & Retail South Region, where she built and led teams, managed operational integration, led an intense change management process and consistently exceeded performance targets.
In her new role, Veronica will be responsible for driving Veeam’s Inside Sales strategy across EMEA, accelerating pipeline creation, and supporting the company’s continued growth in commercial and enterprise segments. She will work closely with Veeam’s regional sales and partner teams to strengthen customer relationships and deliver industry-leading solutions.
