Omnix, an end-to-end digital solutions and services pioneer, announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Saudi Council of Engineers, a scientific vocational council that promotes the development of the engineering profession, to train and empower a new generation of engineers in the Kingdom. As part of the agreement, Omnix will facilitate Saudi Council of Engineers member engineers to get certified by international accreditation systems and offer the exchange of consultancy and engineering expertise between the employees of the SCE and Omnix.
Omnix will provide specialized training programs to SCE members in the field of Building Information Modelling, Digital Construction, Multimedia, 3D Laser Scanning, computer-aided design, and technical linkage to provide and exchange information of common interest.

The Saudi Council of Engineers’ decision to engage with Omnix is based on the company’s expertise and experience in delivering innovative solutions to the engineering industry. This MoU was driven by Mohammad Danish, Country Sales Manager, Omnix Engineering in Saudi Arabia. Earlier, Omnix provided the Saudi Council of Engineers with online workshops on a variety of topics including Autodesk BIM Solution, Infrastructure BIM Solution, Visualization tools such as VRay, Lumion, 3D Laser Scanning, VR/AR, and remote support tools like VARJO and VUZIX.
The partnership between Omnix and the Saudi Council of Engineers is a long-term commitment aimed at empowering the new generation of engineers in Saudi. The two organizations plan to replicate this initiative in other regions within Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Countries.
The Saudi Council of Engineers promotes the engineering profession, facilitates engineers and engineering establishments to reach ideal solutions, enhances the level of performance, and encourages them to adopt new technologies. All Engineers in Saudi Arabia must be registered with the Saudi Council of Engineers to perform engineering practice.
