Shory has been appointed as a cybersecurity provider to the UAE Cyber Security Council under a new Memorandum of Understanding. The partnership aims to enhance threat intelligence sharing, support national cyber resilience, and strengthen the UAE’s digital transformation framework against emerging threats.
Formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the collaboration establishes a framework for Shory and the Council to exchange expertise, strengthen preparedness and support responses to emerging cyber threats.
The agreement marks an important milestone for Shory and strengthens its position within the UAE’s cybersecurity landscape. It also supports wider national efforts to build a secure and trusted digital environment as the UAE continues to advance its digital transformation ambitions.
Through the collaboration, Shory will contribute its cybersecurity expertise and capabilities while supporting greater knowledge and threat intelligence sharing. The exchange is expected to strengthen preparedness and enable more effective responses as the nature and complexity of digital threats continue to evolve.
Aoun Al Smadi, CEO of Shory UAE, said: “Cybersecurity is inseparable from the trust our customers and partners place in digital services. As an AI-driven business operating in a highly connected ecosystem, we see first-hand how quickly the risk landscape is changing. This collaboration gives us the opportunity to contribute the expertise we have built within Shory to a wider national effort, while learning and sharing knowledge across the UAE’s cybersecurity ecosystem. Ultimately, stronger cyber resilience benefits every organisation and individual participating in the digital economy.”
The agreement demonstrates the role public private collaboration can play in strengthening national cyber resilience and supporting secure digital transformation in the UAE.
