QBS Software has announced a new regional leadership structure following its acquisition of emt. Led by Mo Mobasseri, the organisation now operates as QBS Software Middle East, serving as the headquarters for the META and Eurasia regions. The expanded team, featuring specialists from the GCC, Africa, and Türkiye, aims to accelerate growth in cybersecurity and software distribution to support the group’s $1 billion revenue target.

Today, that legacy continues under a new identity.

Following its acquisition by QBS Software in mid 2025, the organization now operates as QBS Software Middle East, formerly emt, combining decades of regional expertise with the scale, capabilities, and global reach of one of EMEA’s fastest-growing software-focused distributors and act as Headquarter for the META and Eurasia Region.

At the centre of this transformation is Mo Mobasseri, CEO of QBS META & Eurasia Region formerly the Co-Founder and CEO of emt META and a key regional leader within the QBS Technology Group, leading the highly diverse META & Eurasia cluster.

Having successfully guided emt from a regional cybersecurity distributor into a strategic technology powerhouse, Mobasseri is now leading an expanded leadership team responsible for accelerating QBS’s growth across the Middle East, Türkiye, Africa, and the wider Eurasia region.

Building a Regional Leadership Team for Global Growth

As QBS continues its ambitious expansion strategy, Mobasseri’s role has evolved beyond leading a successful regional distributor.

Today, he works closely with an experienced team of regional executives, each bringing decades of expertise across cybersecurity, software distribution, channel development, and market expansion. Together, they are creating a unified organization that combines local market knowledge with global operational excellence.

This leadership structure reflects QBS’s long-term vision: empowering technology vendors to scale faster, enabling partners to grow their businesses, and delivering innovative software solutions across rapidly evolving markets.
