New Trinergy Cube brings the industry’s highest performance levels with unparalleled layout flexibility
Emerson Network Power has announced that its next-generation Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), the Trinergy™ Cube, is now available throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa. Emerson Network Power continues to deliver the best-in-class data centre solutions which provide its enterprise data centre and colocation customers with the highest perfor-mance levels businesses have come to expect.
The Trinergy Cube is designed to meet the needs of enterprise-class data centres, offering unparalleled flexibility and scalability to evolve with today’s ever-demanding business trends. With high power density cores, optimised efficiency at partial load conditions and hot scalability, it delivers adaptability currently unavailable anywhere else in the market. Five years on from the launch of the original ground-breaking Trinergy solution, Emerson Network Power has worked closely with customers to develop another innovative industry-leading UPS, going beyond the power revolution and enabling customers to stay ahead of business demands for availability, capacity and high efficiency.
Trinergy Cube can reach up to 3 MW in a single static UPS, enabling extraordinary capacity levels previously only achieved by rotary UPS solutions. The extreme high-power density within the single unit ensures that data centre managers can make the best use of available floor space, overcoming space constraints and ever-rising real estate costs, as well as optimising TCO. Its design is extremely flexible, as Trinergy Cube is scalable up to 20 MW in a parallel system. It can be easily configured in L-shape or back-to-back to suit the layout of a wide range of installation spaces. Trinergy Cube’s scalable and flexible design combines additional features including average operational efficiency of 98.5 per cent, and up to 99.5 per cent maximum efficiency.
All of this is complemented with advanced diagnostic capabilities, delivered through Emer-son Network Power’s LIFE™ remote diagnostic and preventive monitoring service. From dedicated LIFE service centres, Emerson Network Power experts proactively measure and analyse equipment data for proactive maintenance, optimising load uptime and ensuring that the critical power protection system is maintained.
“The evolution of Emerson Network Power’s Trinergy Cube marks the next-generation in UPS technologies, building on the original ground-breaking Trinergy product and signifi-cantly reducing operation costs. Our R&D team worked closely with customers in order to better understand the most pressing pain points they have today and those they foresee for the future,” said Giovanni Zanei, product marketing director, Power Systems for Emerson Network Power in Europe, Middle East and Africa. “Customer operations are increasingly the focus of many organisations, with more and more services and functions demanding reliable and secure infrastructure. The innovative, flexible, Trinergy Cube solution has been developed specifically to address these industry issues, providing data centre managers and business leaders with the ultimate peace of mind; guaranteed availability and exceptional efficiency levels.”
Emerson Network Power developed the latest innovations in the Trinergy product line in its research and development field in Bologna, Italy, where its Customer Experience Centre is also located. The Centre enables Emerson Network Power to showcase Trinergy Cube’s performance to its customers, with dedicated demonstrations and witness tests, drawing on the expertise of its engineers.
“Our goal is always to deliver solutions to our customers which seek to meet the data centre needs of the future. While it is not always easy to predict industry trends that are yet to come, each product and solution we develop draws on a significant network of talent and expertise, alongside the valuable insights we glean directly from our customers,” added Franco Costa, vice president and general manager, Power Systems, Emerson Network Power in Europe, Middle East, and Africa.
